To begin lets talk about how we landed up here in the first place....

it all began with the Hall Allotment Day..
Initial reactions : When we were alloted LLR Hall some were not sure how to react, for 'lallu' hall as it is more popularly known as was a low profile hall.. in the news only for its good food and the PGM it produces ( for the ignorant souls.. PGM stands for President's Gold Medal)..
THe Tea Party : We had a tea party before the end of 1st year and as per traditions all of us freshers were invited for the tea-party . there was a certain apprehension in most of the minds for it was a sort of 'official' ragging time and becoz of the policy of seggregating the freshers by alloting them a seperate hall this was the first time that some of the students would interact with the seniors on this scale..
More about the Tea Party : Well, the function started..We 'll call it a function for it was more of a pretense.. some of the seniors trying to instill fear in our minds.. There were these cases where the seniors caught us and chided us for not being in the right dress code.. We didn't retort back ..much that we felt like and gave sorts of continous submissive looks.. it was better than the funky things other guys were made to do which my eyes were continually capturing ..some dancing on the table.. some crazy things..we even had to swallow ' lallu's salt' and take it's pledge ( lallu ka namak khana ceremony !!! ) ..things settled finally with the traditional showdown between the freshers and the 3'rd year footer players match and then the freshers versus the final years..the tension melting n things were easing up and as i eyed my hall , though still not very sure whether this was the exact place i would luv to live for the next 3 years ..
The First Working Day in the Hall : After registrations were over and seeing each other in the wing ( C-Ground-West ) move in,
we were inspired to arrange our rooms..Moving things around, slowly and gradually, we came to know each other.. it was a mixed crowd.. some were from the same first year wing, some were familiar with each other.. and the rest were new faces totally
Time Went On : As time passed on we got to know more of each other and we soon discovered more of each other and somehow this feeling was evolving that we had much more in common than being those unfortunate souls for whom god had'nt matched a girl 'yet' !!
The Cricket Sessions : Cricket was one thing that brought us together ..in the weekends we did play it out in the little space we had in the pathway of our wing.. as has been rightly said that even the very greats start from the very nadir heights ..budding cricketers were encouraged..and 'friendly' competitive spirit developed ...there still lingers in our memories the day which most of us who were part of it won't forget , when during one of the intra-hall matches ( incidently our debut match ) we scored 87 of just 6 overs which to known history is a record highest aggregate by any team in this event ( n most importantly under the given rules and the ground conditions ). that we fizzled out in the second outing to have an uncerimonious exit from the tournament can never undermine that.It was cricket which brought some of the present ctm dwellers to join the rest of the gang (rama).
The Gang Completes!! : Seven of us present ctm ones carried on from where we left in the second year ..with the other half of the pack joining in ..... enriching our wing ,each one in his own capacity , proficient in sports the sprint champ of the hall, shashi, the Dhanraj Pillay of the Campus, Narsingh, the R.K laxman of the Campus, Ali, the young rocker, Mark and with the handsome Kamlesh, one crazy bunch of fun loving guys was ready to turn C TOP MID into the mecca of crazy livin la vida life on the edges!!!
